Top Five Kitchen Trends That Are Here to Stay

When incorporating trending design elements in your kitchen, remember that just because it is a trend, does not mean that it is timeless. In order for you to find timeless trends, we took a look at six kitchen trends that are here to stay. From minimal cabinets to unique ceiling treatments, these classic trends are guaranteed to add style to your kitchen. Here are the top kitchen trends that are here to stay:

Induction Cooktops

These days, traditional gas stoves are under the radar. Induction cooktops are highly functional and more aesthetically pleasing. Induction stoves use very little heat, which means that even a small kitchen will stay cool during its use. Plus, it is safe to touch while on, which is perfect for homes with small children. Since an induction cooktop lacks a large range hood, it takes up less space, which means the design possibilities are limitless.

Ceiling Treatments

If you really desire to do something chic with your kitchen, you cannot go wrong with a ceiling treatment. Shake up small or large spaces by investing in molding, beams, and creative ceiling lights. Ceiling treatments can define large kitchens and add interest to smaller-scaled ones.

The White Kitchen

A white kitchen design will never go out of style. While using bold hues on major surfaces such as the island or countertops is currently a trend, you will likely get sick of seeing the color. It is best to stick with accessories that feature a pop of color because you can swap them out whenever you desire. So embrace your all-white kitchen design.

Limited Upper Cabinets

Few upper kitchen cabinets is a minimalist design trend that is here to stay. Many homeowners prefer a clean and streamlined look that limited upper cabinetry provide. It is the perfect opportunity to display your antique dishware and other decor pieces.

Silver Finishes

From rose gold to matte black, we have seen different types of finishes in all different types of kitchens; however, polished silver finishes are a classic choice. Just remember to incorporate chrome or nickel-finished hardware such as the faucet or shelving brackets.
