It may be winter but that doesn’t mean that you can’t still plan a fun night with friends where you all get to stay indoors and enjoy each other’s company with a nice warm drink to go along with everything. Perhaps you add a little cinnamon stick to your cider or add some extra marshmallows to your hot chocolate. Anyway you choose to enjoy your evening the following activities are ideas for you and your friends to enjoy while you stay warm.
You could set up a night of crafting with your friends where everyone gets to do something creative and you just might find your inner child while connecting with an activity that many haven’t indulged since childhood. Decorate wooden picture frames or mod-podge onto mason jars. Whatever you do, at the end of the night everyone will have something that they can take home and use but everyone will also have enjoyed a night of fun while getting creative.
Another idea is to enjoy a night of board games or cards. For those that are more competitive, a game of Monopoly or poker is always a fun way to pass the time. Perhaps your friends are more collaborative and want to play a game that lends itself to teamwork. If that is the case a board game like Pandemic might be more your speed, a game where everyone gets to work together to strategize for a win. Whatever your preference, there is a game out there to make any winter night a winner.
Finally, if none of the previous suggestions sound like something you would consider, you might enjoy a good old fashioned movie night. You could pick a classic like The Princess Bride or Gone With the Wind. Or you could go with a sillier selection like that funny rom-com you have been meaning to watch and never got around to. You could even go for something hilarious like the Big Lebowski, which is sure to be a crowd pleaser. Everybody loves a movie night as long as you add popcorn and blankets and good company to the mix.
