When to Consider Carpet Tiles

There are so many flooring options available on the market today. From commercial to residential properties and hard surface to softer options, picking out the perfect flooring can be a daunting task. Knowing when and where is the ideal time to facilitate each flooring can also be challenging. Different floors all come with their own pros and cons. Certain floors may work in one room but wreak havoc in another. If you are looking at carpet tiles, you may be wondering, “When would this be ideal for me?” Well, we are here to help answer that for you. Here is everything to consider with carpet tiles:

Installation and Removal

When you buy a wall-to-wall carpet, it takes a professional install and is very heavy. The carpets will come in 12 to 15-foot rolls and can be difficult to maneuver throughout your home or business.  Carpet tiles are very easy to install. They generate much less waste than wall-to-wall carpet as well. With the tiles being so frequent, you can simply remove and replace one if any damage occurs, which can make replacing your flooring less expensive in the future.

Superior Durability

Carpet tile is great for commercial application. It is incredibly durable and can withstand the heaviest of foot traffic. This makes it great for residential use as well. With many carpet tiles having advance patterns and added color, they will hide spills and stains as well.

Low Pile

Typically, carpet tiles have a very tight, low loop. Not only is this ideal for heavy foot traffic, but it also is a better carpet option for moisture. This can allow them to be installed in vestibules and entryways where water may be dragged in from the outdoors. The low pile is also a better option for enhancing the air quality of the room. Most wall-to-wall carpets can collect dust and allergens. Carpet tiles are flatter and will not hold many unwanted nuisances.

Carpet tiles are great for many different applications. If you are looking for the benefits that carpet has to offer, but want a more durable product, consider adding carpet tiles. For more insight on carpet tiles, do not hesitate to call or visit us.
